CoRonavIruS health Impact Survey (CRISIS)

The CoRonavIruS health Impact Survey (CRISIS) assesses mental, behavioral, and physical health effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as a range of pandemic-related and pre-existing risk and protective factors. The baseline version of the CRISIS assesses the following domains: background information about the household, physical and mental health prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Covid-19 exposure and infection status, life changes due to the pandemic, Covid-19-related concerns, current well-being, and behavioral factors such as media use, sleep and physical activity. The follow-up version excludes the sections on the background information and health prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. There are adult, parent-report, child- and adolescent versions available.

In YOUth, a Dutch self-translated version of the CRISIS was used. For both the primary parent and the other parent, a baseline measurement took place in April/May of 2020 (round 1), followed by follow-ups in May/June of 2020 (round 2), September/October of 2020 (round 3), February/March of 2021 (round 4), December/January of 2022 (round 5) and July/August of 2022 (round 6b).
