Catalogue Guide
About this portal
This portal serves as a centralized metadata repository for six Dutch developmental cohort studies, collectively organized under the Consortium on Individual Development (CID). The platform provides access to metadata that covers various measures related to child development. Be aware that data availability and procedural guidelines may differ across individual cohort studies.
Using this portal
This portal offers an overview of the metadata associated with the measures collected across six distinct cohort studies. Each measure is detailed through a standardized set of metadata fields, which include a general description, relevant keywords and constructs, details about the timing and longitudinal nature of the measurements, as well as the collection method. Additionally, for certain measures, a sidebar on the left provides a summary of related measures, useful when a specific questionnaire or task has been employed across multiple cohort studies. Moreover, every measure displays essential metadata about the specific cohort study, the cohorts involved, and the various waves in which the measure was collected.
When you want to request the data for scientific usage, each cohort study has its own data request procedure. Information on data access is presented in the left sidebar for each measure.
