Genotyping (array)

Assessment of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) as obtained through genotyping arrays.

The TRAILS Population and Clinical cohorts specifically assessed a blood sample or buccal swab using the Golden Gate Illumina BeadStation 500 platform and specifically included genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and selected candidate gene length polymorphisms of Dopamine Receptor D4 (DRD4), Monoamine Oxidase A (MAO-A), Serotonin Transporter Linked Promoter Region (HTTLPR), and rs25331. The TRAILS NEXT cohort specifically assessed a buccal swab using Illumina Global Screening Array v3 platform.
