MacArthur Scale of Subjective Social Status - Youth version

The MacArthur Scale of Subjective Social Status - Youth version assesses adolescents' perception of their family's place on the social ladder. It consists of two ladders which assess the placement of the family within society, and the placement of the adolescent within the school community.

Measurement wave 17-18 years also assessed the adolescent's perception of the future social status (in 15 years’ time).
