Emotionality, Activity, and Sociability (EAS) Temperament Survey for Children

The Emotionality, Activity, and Sociability (EAS) Temperament Survey for Children is a questionnaire that assesses temperament in children (aged 1 to 9 years) which contains questions about Emotionality, Activity, Shyness and Sociability.

In NTR, the EAS was used since 2008, and the father-report version since 2014.

Short description of the wave	The YS_2 survey gathers maternal report (fathers added in 2014) on motor development, breastfeeding, health, handedness and growth data (including height and weight) as obtained from the Dutch National Health Services (from 2010) in 2-year old twins (mean age = 2.35 years, SD = 0.30 years). From 2008 onwards, items on wellbeing, child care, and temperament were added to the surveys.
