Electroencephalography (EEG) - Visuomotor adjustment paradigm

Electrocardiography (EEG) was measured while participants performed a visuomotor adjustment paradigm to measure motor control.

During the paradigm, participants are moving their hand in straight ways while sitting in front of a robot handle. Participants' arms and hands are covered, while the handle is visible on a projection plate just above the handle. Participants need to reach for the handle, but the handle introduces gradual systematic error in reaching movements, to which participants adapt unconsciously.
