Hair sample

A hair sample is a collection of hair strands, which are usually cut from a person's head. Hair samples usually contain hair that has grown over the last 12 months.

In YOUth, approximately 200 strings of hair were cut from the back of the head of the participant as close as possible to the skin, and stored in special envelopes in fire proof cabinets.
