Bullying Victimization

Bullying and Victimization assesses whether the child has been a victim of bullying or has bullied others. The questionnaire consists of 8 items asking whether the child has been bullied in general, verbally (laughed or yelled at), physically (spitting, kicking, pushing), and relationally (ignored, gossipped about or excluded), or has bullied others in the same ways in the past few months.

In NTR, bullying and Victimization was measured since 2010. Questions were suggested by Rene Veenstra (RUG).

Short description of the wave	The YS_TRF7 survey for primary school teachers includes items on the teacher, class and school, functioning of the child, school performance, bullying and victimization (from 2010), and standardized questionnaires on problem behavior, namely the Teacher Report Form (TRF), the short version of the Conners’ Teacher Ratings Scale - Revised (CTRS-R), and the Social Skills Rating System (SSRS) (from 2017). Parents of twins that are approximately 7 years old (in 2009 age 6; mean age = 6.91 years, SD = 0.52 years) born in or after 1992, are contacted to ask for their permission to approach the teacher(s). From 2006 onwards, the consent to approach a teacher was extended to the non-twin siblings (6-12 years; mean age = 9.4 years, SD = 1.47 years) of their twins, and from 2009 with consent for triplets.
