Parental Dimensions Inventory (PDI)

The Parental Dimensions Inventory (PDI) is a parent-report scale that assesses the degree of consistency in parental actions and behaviors towards their children in case of individual factors (e.g., fatigue), child-related situations (e.g., persuasion), or external influences (e.g., presence of grandparents). Items include “I have little or no difficulty in continuing rules for my child even if family is around (incl. grandparents)” or “Once I’ve decided how to deal with my child’s bad behavior, I stick to the plan”.
