Cheating - Word puzzle

The Cheating - Word Puzzle task aims to measure behavioral control by giving a child an opportunity to cheat when making a word puzzle. In the task, the child is instructed to come up with the correct word for each picture, with increasing difficulty. The more correct answers, the more money the child can earn. During the instruction, the researcher points clearly at the book containing the correct answers, and in some cases emphasizes not to take a look in there. After the instruction, the researcher leaves the room and instructs the child to do the task in the meantime. Children are scored on whether they cheated or not, whether the answer book was moved, the total number of words filled out, and the number of words filled out by cheating.
