    The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) is a 12-item measure of perceived adequacy of social support. The items are organised into three subscales (4 items each) relating to the source of the social support, namely family, friends or another significant person. Items are rated on a 7-point Likert scale.
