Eye tracking - Reading

The Eye tracking - Reading task investigates what a participant is looking at when reading. Eye movements were measured while performing two computerized reading tasks: the ‘Word reading test (EMT)’ during which children were instructed to read out loud the appearing words, and a ‘Silent reading of two short stories’, during which children read a story in silence after which questions were asked about the story. The eye movements were measured using a RED remote eye-tracking system (SensoMotoric Instruments).
