Early Childhood Behavior Questionnaire (ECBQ)

The Early Childhood Behaviour Questionnaire (ECBQ) assesses temperament in children aged between 1-3 years old. It was designed to provide a more comprehensive and detailed assessment of temperament compared to existing measures appropriate for toddlers.

In TRAILS Next, items about activity level, attentional focusing, attentional shifting, cuddliness, discomfort, fear, frustration, high intensity pleasure, low intensity pleasure, impulsivity, inhibitory control, motor activation, perceptual sensitivity, positive anticipation, sadness, shyness, sociability, and soothability were included.
