Self-concept Task

The Self-Concept Task aims to measure a child's self-concept. The participants are asked whether both positive and negative traits related to academic performance and social interactions fit them. As a control condition, the participants are asked to categorize certain characteristics as school or friends. The self-evaluations cover various aspects such as friendship, social status, intelligence, work ethic, etc.
