Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS)

The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) is a 5-item scale designed to measure global cognitive judgments of one’s life satisfaction (it is not a measure of either positive or negative affect). The scale does not assess satisfaction with life domains such as health or finances, but allows subjects to integrate and weight these domains in whatever way they choose.
