Children's Behavior Questionnaire - Effortful control (CBQ-EC)

The Children’s Behavior Questionnaire (CBQ) is a caregiver report that measures temperament in children aged 3 to 7 years. Domains of the CBQ include positive and negative emotion, motivation, activity level, and attention.

Within L-CID, 12 items from the Effortful Control subscale were used, taken from the Attentional Focusing and Inhibitory Control components of the subscale. Additionally, within L-CID, items from the Effortful Control subscale were alternated with Wildman questions.
