Pregnancy-Related Anxiety Questionnaire - short version (PRAQ-R)

The Pregnancy Anxiety Questionnaire (PRAQ) assesses fears and worries related to pregnancy. The short version consists of 10 items, including the subscales Fear of giving birth, Fear of bearing a physically or mentally handicapped child, Fear of changes and disillusions in partner relationships, Fear of changes, Concern about one’s mental well-being and Mother-child relationship. Items are answered on 5-point Likert scale (1 = absolutely not applicable, 2 = barely applicable, 3 = sometimes applicable, 4 = quite applicable, 5 = absolutely applicable).

In Generation R, the PRAQ was only measured in a subcohort.
