Sensitive Discipline - Do and Don't

The Sensitive Discipline - Do and Don't tasks aim to measure parental sensitivity and discipline by observing a parent-child interaction when the parent has to instruct the child to do something (e.g., clean up toys, "Do"), and when parent has to forbid the child to do something (e.g., do not touch the toys while the parent plays with them, "Don't").

The task also allows for the assessment of compliance and active resistance in a disciplinary context (clean-up). In Generation R, the DoDon't task was only measured in a subgroup and performed at 3 years during the visit at the research centre, and at 4 years during a home visit.
