Nijmeegse Ouderlijke Stress Index (NOSI) - Competence

The Nijmeegse Ouderlijke Index (NOSI, Parental Stress Index) is a parent self-report measure to assess parental stress. Includes items about parental acceptance and sense of competence.

The Competence subscale was used, which measures a parent's sense of competence in terms of parenting (e.g., "Parenting this child is harder than I thought it would be", "I often feel like I cannot handle things very well", etc.).
