Culture and social contacts

Culture and social contacts consists of several items that assess cultural identity and is based on questions from an international study on acculturating youth. Both assimilation with the host culture and identification with the culture of origin were assessed, related to feelings, activities with friends, and celebration of host and original festivities. Items also included speaking Dutch, and reading and writing skills. All items were rated on 5-point Likert scales.
