Illness Behavior Encouragement Scale (IBES)

The Illness Behavior Encouragement Scale (IBES) is a parent-report questionnaire that assesses parental response to children's illness in the last three months.

Generation R assessed 5 of the originally 12 items that were answered on a 4-point Likert scale (1 = seldom or never, 2 = sometimes, 3 = often, 4 = almost, or always).
