Gender Identity/Gender Dysphoria Questionnaire for Adolescents and Adults (GIDYQ-AA)

The Gender Identity/Gender Dysphoria Questionnaire for Adolescents and Adults (GIDYQ-AA) assesses symptoms or gender dysphoria, such as "feels more like the opposite sex", "cross-dressing at home", and "efforts to change legal sex".

In Generation R, only one item from the GIDYQ-AA was used to assess gender experiences, namely: 'Would you rather be treated as a member of the opposite sex?'.
