Inflammation markers - Immunoglobulin E (IgE)

Inflammation markers, for instance C-reactive protein (CRP), Lymphocytes, Neopterin, Immunoglobulin E (IgE), Immunoglobulin G (IgG), and tissue Transglutaminase Immunoglobulin A (tTg-IgA), measured with traditional enzymatic tests, such as Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA).

In TRAILS, Immunoglobulin E (IgE) was assessed. IgE is a type of antibody and an indicator of immune response against, among others, parasites and allergens. IgE was assessed from a blood sample using traditional enzymatic methods such as Enzyme Immuno Assay (EIA).
