Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ)

In Generation R, the Restrained Eating subscale was used, which consists of 10 items assessing the tendency to eat less than desired to lose or maintain body weight. Parent-reported and child-reported questionnaire at 13 years were assessed by 10 items. At the mother-reported assessment at 10 years, 1 item (eating in the evening) was omitted as 10-year-olds might not eat much in the evening. At the child-reported assessment at 10 years, only two items were assessed: one item of restraint scale and one item of external eating scale. At the child-reported and father-reported assessment at 17 years, four items from restraint scale were assessed.
